Dr. Ferreira graduated with honors from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dental Medicine in 1979. Prior to studying at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Dr. Ferreira attended The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Biology.Dr. Ferreira also completed a General Practice Residency at Rhode Island Hospital prior to opening his practice in Fall River. Dr. Ferreira has been practicing for over 27 years. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Ferreira has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes and thousands of hours of continuing education, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care.
Cindy has been a dental assistant for 32 years. Cindy has been a part of Dr. Ferreira’s team for 32 years. She received her x-ray certification through Boston University Dental School and is licensed in the state of Massachusetts. Cindy’s favorite part of being a dental assistant is the relationship she has built over the years with our patients. In Cindy’s spare time, she volunteers at the homeless shelters. Cindy finds that very rewarding. She also spends much of her time with her family and enjoys the outdoors.
Sue graduated from Bristol Community College in 1992 with her Associates in Business Management. She has been working for Dr. Ferreira’s practice for over 20 years. Sue enjoys interacting and getting to know patients. She will gladly answer any patient questions regarding their dental insurance and financing available to help create their beautiful and healthy smile. Sue is a mother of two and in her time away from work she is involved in multiple extracurricular activities with her children.
Amanda’s enthusiasm for dentistry is apparent. She takes pride in providing gentle and thorough treatment to all of her patients. Her primary focus is educating patients about their dental health so they can maintain a beautiful and healthy smile. The long-term relationships she develops with her patients is her favorite part of being a dental hygienist. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
Theresa has been a dental assistant for 29 years. She worked 3 years for the late Dr. Almy of Tiverton and began working for Dr. Ferreira in the summer of 1992. She is coming up on her 26th anniversary. She received her x-ray certification through Boston University Dental School and is licensed in the state of Massachusetts. She loves the relationships that have formed over the years with patients as she has seen them grow into adulthood and begin having families of their own, and in turn become patients also. She has recently started doing volunteer work serving food to the homeless, and found this experience to be extremely humbling and gratifying.
Cindy joined Dr. Ferreira’s office in 2002. She has over 35 years of experience in the dental field. She brings a great amount of knowledge to our patients. She earned her degree from BCC in 1983. She truly enjoys dental hygiene and providing expert care to her patients and focusing on educating them about their dental health. When she’s not enjoying dental hygiene, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Andrea has been working for the practice since 2014. She enjoys working with her co-workers and likes working with the patients making sure they have the best dental experience. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
